WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
In 1981, our founder, Edward Mattox, used his training and expertise as a field
electrician to strike out on his own, and Inland Electric began with just
a few trucks and four employees. In the last decade, we have acquired three
major electrical contractors and have become the contractor of choice for
a majority of the residential builders in the Midwest. We now are proud to
boast over 500 union electricians in the field and 40 support professionals
providing support,
design and value engineering services.
This once small company has grown to become one of Northern Illinois/Chicagoland's leading union electrical contractors where we are a leader in vertical residential (mid-rise, high-rise and quasi-commercial) as well as commercial, hotel/motel, retail and senior living.
Inland Electric is the choice of five of Metro Chicago's
six biggest residential builders, firms such as Cambridge
Homes, Centex, Lennar, Pulte Homes, and Town and Country,
and has plans to expand into metropolitan areas.
Our past projects include corporate facilities, retail and commercial offices, corporate office suites, medical facilities and parking facilities. In short, from high-rise condominium developments to storefronts, Inland Electric is able to handle projects of all sizes. |
